The nations of Habololy are as diverse as the races that inhabit them. Those capable of and able to change survive, while others fade off into the memory of history. Some of the nations of the world have existed since nearly the beginning of recorded time, while others are young and still trying to determine if they can survive.
While the nations described above are the most powerful and influential nations; they are not all of the nations. A description of the lesser nations and the city-states of Habololy can be found at:<a href="Lesser%20Nations%20and%20City-States.htm">Lesser Nations and City States</a>.
The following list describes the basics of every nation and gives a feel for how each one manages to co-exist, or fight, with the rest of the world. To better understand the listings, the categories used are explained below.
Founded: The year in which the nation was first established and recognized.
Capital: The city or place where the nation’s rulers live.
Population: How many beings live in the nation and what the racial make up of those beings is.
Government: What type of rule is used to govern the nation.
Ruler: Who the commonly known ruler of the nation is.
Major Religions: The most widely practiced religions in the nation.
Active Cults: Any cults that are known to be in practice in the nation.
Allied Nations: Other nations who are considered friendly.
Enemy Nations: Other nations who are considered hostile.
Size: The number of square miles that the nation officially controls.
Climate: The dominant weather climate that exists in the nation.
Major Terrain: The dominant terrain features that can be found in the nation.
Subsistence: The most commonly found methods of survival used by the beings of the nation.
Secondary: Other ways the nation supports itself.
Magic Level: The extent to which magic is used on an everyday basis.
Technology Level: The extent to which advanced or modern technology is used in everyday life.
Trade Level: The extent to which the nation trade with other nations.
Exports: The most commonly exported goods.
Imports: The most commonly imported goods.'
'Coin: The names of the nation’s minted coins, or the name of the foreign nation whose minted coin is considered official.
Major Cities: The names and populations of the largest cities in the nation.
For several of the previous categories, there are levels involved. These are levels of judgment as to how much of something occurs relative to the rest of Habololy. These levels can be explained as follows:

Supreme - |
Every aspect of life involves magic. No one could live without it. All accept and understand it. |

Very High – |
Most households own at least one magical item. Most accept and understand it. Spells are common. |

High – |
Everyone knows of common magical items and spells. Most see magic effects weekly. |

Average – |
Spells and magical items are known but not often see. Most know of spellcasters, but don’t interact with them daily. |

Low – |
Spellcasters and magical items are uncommon. Most have heard of them but rarely encounter any. |

Very Low – |
Magical items are rare. Most will never meet more than one spellcaster. Magic is often feared. |
|
None – |
Spellcasters are either banned or don’t exist here. There are no magical items. |
Technology Level: |
Supreme - |
Every item involves technology. No one fears it. Understood and accepted by all. |

Very High – |
Advances are commonplace. Most understand it. |
|
High – |
Some technology used by everyone, but not in every aspect of life. Most understand it. |
|
Average – |
Some advances used. Some understand it. |
|
Low – |
Few advances exist. Few understand. Usually feared and distrusted. |

Very Low – |
Virtually no advances exist. None understand technology. Most believe it is magic. Some fear it. Some hate it. |

Truly barbaric or uncivilized. Hatred and fear common. Possibly banned. |
Trade Level:

Survival dependant upon trade. No other activity takes place on a significant level. |

Tremendous trade. Very profitable and necessary. Consistent trading with many other nations. |

Good amount of trade takes place. Regular trading with other nations. |

Some trade takes place with select nations. |

Low – |
Little trade with only one or two nations. |

Very Low – |
Only vital trading done with one nation. Trade is distrusted. |

No trade. Either from inability or by law. |
