For some, what they do is secondary to the way in which they do it.  Such is the case for those known as acrobats.  Warriors, thieves, entertainers, or spellcasters all have been known to fall into this category. 

Requirements

                Alignment: any

                Base Attack Bonus: +3

                Ability: Dexterity 14+, Strength 14+

                Feats: Acrobatic

                Balance: 8 ranks

                Climb: 6 ranks

                Jump: 8 ranks

                Tumble: 8 ranks

Class Skills: Skill points at each level: 6+ Intelligence modifier.

Class Features

  • Weapon and Armor Proficiencies: The Acrobat gains no additional weapon or non-weapon proficiencies. While wearing medium or heavy armor, the

    acrobat loses all abilities gained through this prestige class.
  • Sneak Attack: This ability is the same as the Rogue ability of the same name. The bonuses stack with those from the rogue class.

  • Amazing Leap: The Acrobat no longer has to obey the limiting rules on how far he can jump based on his height. He receives a +10 bonus to all Jump skill checks.

  • Climbing Expert: The Acrobat can climb at his full speed with no penalty. He also receives a +10 bonus to all Climb skill checks.

  • Fearless Fall: This acts just as the Slow Fall ability of a monk. This

    distance the Acrobat is able to fall is equal to 5 feet per acrobat level.
  • Balancing Act: The Acrobat’s balance is so coordinated from practice

    that the difficulty for all Balance skill checks is halved for him.
  • Tumbler: The Acrobats tumbling skill is so advanced that the difficulty

    for performing all Tumbling skills is halved for him.
  • Feat of Endurance: Once per day, before performing a skill or attack, the Acrobat can declare his feat of endurance. For the next minute, his

    Constitution in increased by 10.
  • Contortionist: The Acrobat can put himself in positions that would be excruciatingly painful or outright impossible for others. He gains a +10

    bonus to all Escape Artist skill checks.
  • Feat of Speed: Once per day, before performing a skill or attack, the Acrobat can declare his feat of speed. For the next round, his Dexterity in

    increased by 10.
  • Performer: The Acrobat gains a +4 synergy bonus to Perform skill checks when using one of the following skills: Tumble, Balance, Jump, Climb, or Escape Artist in the performance. All he gains a +2 synergy bonus to any of

    the previously mentioned skills while performing.
  • Feat of Strength: Once per day, before performing a skill or attack, the Acrobat can declare his feat of strength. For the next round, his Strength in increased by 10.

  • *: Abilities marked in this way do not have to be taken in the order provided above. An acrobat may substitute any of the marked abilities with another. For example: he may take the Fearless Fall ability at first level, followed by the Tumbler ability at second level, and then the Climbing Expert at third level, etc.

For the next minute, his Constitution in increased by 10. This is an extraordinary ability. • Feat of Speed: Five times per day, before performing a skill or attack, the Acrobat can declare his feat of speed. For the next round, his Dexterity in increased by 10. This is an extraordinary ability. • Feat of Strength: Five times per day, before performing a skill or attack, the Acrobat can declare his feat of strength.
